Woody's Lawn Service

About Woody's Lawn Service

By noon in July the air over Midland goes still and heavy, and every block from Ashman Street out toward Emerson Park smells like cut grass. That is Woody's Lawn Service weather. Mow, trim, blow the clippings off the walk, move on — the same careful pass made house after house, so the stripes lie straight and the line along the driveway comes out clean. Flat valley lots reward that kind of attention, because there is nowhere for a sloppy turn to hide. Come evening, when the heat finally lets go and folks carry chairs out onto the grass, the yard is ready for them.
