Woodys Lawn Services

About Woodys Lawn Services

October along the Chippewa turns the whole river corridor gold, and then one northwest wind brings it down all at once. Woodys Lawn Services spends those short afternoons out ahead of the drop — the last mows of the year cut low, beds cleared out, leaves gathered off lawns that will be under snow before long. Out toward the Chippewa Nature Center the maples let go early, while in town the oaks hang on into November, so the work stretches across weeks rather than days. It is unhurried and repetitive and honest: rake, haul, edge, and a yard put away tidy for the cold. When the ground softens again, the weekly rhythm returns, mowing and trimming and the steady upkeep that carries a Midland lawn from thaw to first frost.
