About Edwards Tree & Land Clearing Services Inc

Winter comes to Metamora as a hush over horse country — white fences vanishing into white fields, the rolling hills south of the village smoothed into one long curve. Edwards Tree & Land Clearing Services Inc runs snow through those hills, plowing the long farm drives, the barn approaches and the lots in and around town. A Lapeer County drive can be a quarter mile of gravel under six inches by four in the morning, and the work is to have it open and salted before anyone needs to think about it. There is pride in the clean pass along a fence line, and in a pile stacked where the wind will not hand it back. By the time the sun clears the tree line, the day can simply start.
