Weiland Excavating & Snow Plowing

About Weiland Excavating & Snow Plowing

A storm that starts at noon is the honest kind — you watch it come in over the rail corridor and you know the afternoon is already spoken for. Weiland Excavating & Snow Plowing runs the blade in Melvindale, plowing driveways and lots, opening gravel aprons and wide pavement, shoveling out walks and salting behind. Snow drifts differently on open ground near the tracks than it does between houses, and reading that difference is half of doing it well. By the time the street lamps come on, the pavement is dark and wet and the piles are stacked where nobody will fight them in March. Then the truck idles a moment, and heads for the next address.
