The plus in Lawns+ is the other half of the calendar. From the first warm week to the last leaf, this is mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups across Melvindale's grid of small front yards; from the first flakes on, it is plowing, shoveled walks and salt. July here smells like cut grass and warm asphalt along Dix; February is a blade scraping down to black. Both halves reward the same thing — showing up, and leaving a straight line behind. A lawn or a driveway done right looks effortless, and that is exactly the point.
