Mecosta Township keeps two calendars. From thaw to leaf-drop it is mowing, edging and trimming, with cleanups at either end, the weekly business of keeping a lawn even where woodlot meets open field. From the first hard snow it is plowing driveways and lots, clearing walkways, and salting the ice that sets up under a clear cold night. TwIsted Trees Landscape and Maintenance runs both, which means knowing the same driveways in green and in white. Mecosta County makes that switch abruptly — sometimes inside a single week in November. Either way, the mark of a good day is identical: a place left clean-edged and open.
