Cook's Tree Service

About Cook's Tree Service

The Muskegon River takes its time getting past Mecosta, and the country around it is lake water, second-growth hardwood, and yards carved out of both. Cook's Tree Service works that mix — trimming along shorelines where a limb hangs low over a dock, pruning yard maples that have grown into one another, removals where a tree stands too close to a cottage roof. Ice is the local hazard, and when a storm coats everything the cleanup runs for days: limbs cleared, brush stacked, the drive opened first. Summer brings the lighter, more particular business of shaping. Either way the finish is the same, a clean cut and a yard you can see across.
