About Haskin Tree Care

Luce County is jack pine and swamp cedar and a long white winter, and up here snow doesn't so much fall as accumulate for months. Haskin Tree Care works the camps, the year-round places and the yards along the county roads out of McMillan — removals where a spruce has gone brittle, trimming to keep a roof clear, pruning that pays a hardwood back later. Wind crosses this country in straight, hard lines, and afterward there is plenty to gather: tops down, limbs across a two-track, a drive that needs opening. That cleanup shows immediately, which is part of its appeal. There's real satisfaction in a north-country yard with the brush gone and the ground picked over.
