Down along the old rail grade that traces the shoreline, Marquette keeps rewriting industrial ground into something green. Plant Theory Landscaping likes that project at household scale: landscaping and planting beds, borders drawn with intent, and the regular lawn care — cutting, trimming, keeping a defined edge — that holds the whole idea legible. This far north a plant has to want to be here, and a bed has to survive being buried until April. Designing around that is the interesting part rather than the limitation. The finished yard reads as one thought, from the street all the way to the back fence.
