About Nick's Lawncare

Nothing in Marquette says the year has turned quite like the Dead River running high and brown with meltwater and the first mower coughing to life. Nick's Lawncare opens the season with the cleanup that has to come first: matted grass raked out, road sand swept back, beds cleared of whatever the snowbanks were keeping. Then it is weekly mowing, close trimming and a fresh edge along the walks, right through to October, on a growing season that gives you about five good months and expects you to use them. The reward is that level, unbroken green a lawn only gets from being cut on schedule and never allowed to get ahead of you. It holds until the leaves come down and the fall cleanup closes the books.
