Marquette's summer is short and unreasonably beautiful, and for about twelve weeks the grass grows like it intends to make up for everything. The Cajun Cut Lawn Care rides that stretch hard — weekly mowing, trimming along walks and beds, edging that leaves a clean seam between lawn and pavement. There is heat here in July, real heat coming off the brick downtown that sends everyone toward the water by five o'clock. Cleanup work opens and closes the year, clearing what melts out in April and what falls in October. In between, a lawn cut on schedule looks better here than almost anywhere, because everybody knows what it took to get.
