About Williams Middle Branch Farms LLC

The Middle Branch draws its slow dark line through this corner of Osceola County, and the farm ground around Marion lies open to whatever the sky sends down. In January that means snow, plenty of it, packed into fence-line drifts that can close a lane between one chore and the next. Williams Middle Branch Farms LLC plows through it — long drives and approaches opened wide, turnaround room pushed back, walkways cleared and salted where ice comes up under a melt. Working land does not get to wait for a thaw; the way in has to be open before daylight. Coming back down a lane just cut, banks squared off on both sides, is a good way to start a winter morning.
