Downriver Lawn & Landscape

About Downriver Lawn & Landscape

In Marine City the freighters come down the St. Clair so close you can hear the wash against the seawall, and the lawns along the water take their light from it — silver at dawn, gold by supper. Downriver Lawn & Landscape works those yards through the growing months, mowing and trimming until the edge along a walk is as clean as a chalk line. Come winter, that same river wind piles snow across driveways overnight, and the plow goes out early so a car can back out without a fight. There is a plain satisfaction in a property that looks handled: grass cut even, drive opened curb to curb, nothing left for the homeowner to do but leave the house. That is the whole ambition here, one address at a time, all the way down the river road.
