About Hunt Services

November on the Leelanau peninsula is the turning month — the last leaves come off along M-22, the dune country goes grey, and the first real snow shows up before the rakes are put away. Hunt Services covers both ends of it: fall cleanups and the final mowing, then plowing and shoveling once the lake starts throwing snow inland. Lake-effect out of the west can bury Maple City while Traverse City stays clear, so the plows go out on local weather rather than the forecast. Driveways that wind through trees take care in the dark and patience with the piles. Getting people out to the road on a white morning is what the winter is for.
