Up North Tree Care

About Up North Tree Care

Manistee's lumber-era downtown sits where the Manistee River slips out of Manistee Lake and through a channel to Lake Michigan, and winter comes straight up that channel on the west wind. Up North Tree Care offers snow removal in Manistee for the days when lake-effect squalls bury the Victorian storefronts and the Riverwalk boardwalk beside the water. Out past the beach, the North Pierhead Light wears a coat of ice, while back on the residential streets the snow piles into driveways inch by inch. For a business named for trees, winter brings fitting work: drives cleared full width, walks opened, banks heaped where they will not slide back. Then the town gets on with its day under a sky still bright with blowing snow.
