Lata Tree Service

About Lata Tree Service

On a July evening the light lies long across the fields east of the village, and the hardwood ridges hold the last of it after the low ground along the Cedar River has already gone blue. Lata Tree Service does its shaping in that part of the year: pruning deadwood out of a yard oak, trimming a line of maples back off the gravel road, opening a canopy that has closed over somebody's garden. Removals go on all year, generally where a tree has settled the question on its own. Antrim County storms arrive with real intent, and afterward it's limbs off the roof, brush out of the fence, the lawn cleared by hand. Then the fields go on doing what they do, and the yard sits neat in the middle of them.
