Silver Oaks

About Silver Oaks

There are streets in Macomb Township where the oaks have finally grown tall enough to cast real shade, and a June evening underneath them is the best hour of the week. Silver Oaks mows those yards on a steady rotation — cutting, trimming close around trunks and beds, edging the walks, blowing the drive clean behind it. Shade grass asks for a different touch than the open, sun-blasted front lawns two blocks over, and both get what they need. Autumn means leaves, and around here the oaks hang onto theirs deep into November. Green all summer, cleared by December — that is the shape of the year.
