About Lawn Care Company

By September the mornings in Macomb come in cool and heavy with dew, and the flat lake-plain yards keep their color right up to the frost. Lawn Care Company spends those mornings mowing, edging, string-trimming the awkward corners, and clearing the leaves that gather at the base of every hedge. There is a plainness to the name and a plainness to the work — arrive, cut it level, leave the walks swept. Macomb Township grew out of farm fields, and the grass still behaves like it: eager in spring, stubborn in August, generous in fall. Keeping it tidy is a small thing done often, which is most of what a neighborhood is made of.
