About Genesis Outdoor Services

Late in the day the Macomb Orchard Trail goes gold, and the yards along it hold that light a little longer than the road does. Genesis Outdoor Services works in that hour — mowing, edging, and cleanups on lawns that run flat and open toward the old orchard country north of town. When the calendar turns, the mower gives way to the plow, and driveways across Macomb Township get opened one at a time while the neighborhood sleeps. It is unglamorous, honest outdoor work: cut it even, blow the clippings off the walk, come back when it storms. What is left behind is a property that never looks like it was forgotten.
