The Red Cedar River threads west through Locke Township on its way toward Lansing, and along it the land goes field, woodlot, field again, with farmhouse lawns set back from the road. Cut&Cleanup does what the name says: mowing on a dependable schedule, trimming and edging where the deck cannot reach, and hauling out the debris in spring and again when the leaves finally quit. October here turns gold and then brown fast, and clearing a yard down to green grass before the first hard freeze is the best part of fall. Even in November there is a version of a good-looking lawn, and getting it there is the job. Neat edges, clean walks, nothing left on the drive.
