About Phil's Improvements & Lawn Service LLC

By the third week of October the sugar maples around Clements Circle have gone the color of a struck match, and everything they were wearing ends up on the grass. Phil's Improvements & Lawn Service LLC handles that whole handoff — mowing right up until the growth quits, then leaf removal, bed cutbacks, and a final fall cleanup that leaves the turf breathing for winter. Earlier in the year it is the ordinary good work: weekly mowing, edging, trimming, mulch, fertilizing and seeding on Livonia's flat, generous lots. Nothing here is complicated; it is simply done in the right order and on time. A raked lawn in November with low sun across it is one of the quieter pleasures of this town.
