About Malles landscaping and contracting

The Wilson Barn still stands red at Middlebelt and West Chicago, a piece of farm Livonia parked in the middle of the city, and June Saturdays gather around it. Malles landscaping and contracting spends those mornings on the surrounding blocks — mowing, string-trimming the fence lines, edging drives and walks, and keeping beds mulched and weeded. Michigan grass grows hard in June, an inch between visits if the rain cooperates, so the cut is kept honest rather than scalped. Fertilizing, seeding and aeration follow the calendar the turf keeps, not the one on the wall. By afternoon the yards read as a set of clean rectangles under old maples, which is exactly the point.
