Jones Yard & Home

About Jones Yard & Home

Merriman Road runs past block after block of Livonia ranch houses — low rooflines, wide front lawns, driveways built for one car and used by three. Jones Yard & Home keeps those places going in both directions of the year, mowing and trimming through summer, plowing and shoveling once the drives glaze over. A yard here is a small kingdom: the strip along the fence, the bed beside the porch, the apron at the curb where the plow ridge lands. Doing all of it, rather than most of it, is what separates a finished yard from a mowed one. Come February it's the same house, the same apron, just a different tool in hand.
