About Penn Property Services

A summer storm rolls out of the southwest over the Livingston hills, drops an inch on the hayfields, and by morning everything is knee-high and dripping. Penn Property Services shows up for exactly that: mowing that stays ahead of a wet week, trimming and edging along gravel drives, and cleanups when the thaw or the fall wind leaves a mess. This is rolling country — kettles, morainal hills, roads bending around wetlands toward Pinckney — and mowing it well means reading the ground instead of fighting it. There is a real pleasure in the last pass around a big yard, when the shape of the lot comes back into view. The truck leaves, and the place holds that look for a week.
