About Fred's Tree Work, Landscaping, Excavating

In June, Little Traverse Bay turns a blue that seems to belong somewhere else entirely, and the cedar and birch along the bluff hold cool air well past noon. Fred's Tree Work, Landscaping, Excavating tends the lawns above that water — mowing, trimming, edging, and clearing the yard debris a north-country spring leaves behind. Up here the growing season is short and everybody feels it, so a cut done on time counts for more than it would anywhere flatter. A lawn that stops in a clean line where the bluff grass takes over is a fine thing to stand and look at. Then the light goes long over Harbor Springs and the day's work reads at a glance.
