Fraser Township spreads out north of Bay City, a grid of farm roads dropping down to the Saginaw Bay shoreline at Linwood. Fraser Township Hall stands at the middle of that grid, and lawn care here means keeping grounds and yards in wide-open country cut and presentable. Mowing on a regular turn, trimming close around posts, signs and building edges, running a clean line where grass meets concrete. Bay wind and open sky make turf grow in bursts, so feeding and weed control do their share of keeping the color even. Spring and fall bring the cleanups that clear the season's litter off the grass. Plain upkeep, done so the place looks looked-after.
