The Polly Ann Trail runs straight through Leonard, and on summer mornings the light comes down that old rail grade before it reaches anybody's yard. That is when Blades of Glory Lawn Care, LLC is already out — mower warm, the first pass laid straight along a gravel drive in Addison Township. Leonard is small enough that one lawn is part of the whole street's look, so the work is cut, trim and edge until a yard sits square with its fence line. Clippings swept off the walk, a sharp line where turf meets stone, the smell of fresh grass hanging under the oaks.
