About A THROUGH Z LAWN-CARE L.L.C

East of town the roads run straight along the section lines, and the yards strung between them are no two alike: a wide farm dooryard, then a village lot, then a house set back behind a windbreak of spruce. A THROUGH Z LAWN-CARE L.L.C takes them as they come, mowing, trimming and edging each one to its own shape. In this county the grass wakes late and then goes at it hard through June, so the schedule bends to the weather instead of the calendar. What lasts is the look of a place kept on purpose, fenceline cut in, clippings blown off the gravel, the mailbox post standing in short grass. That is the whole ambition, letter for letter, all the way down the road.
