Late October in Lapeer is changeover week: the mowers get their last run, the blade comes down off the wall, and the wind along Imlay City Road starts sounding like it means it. SOMX LAWN AND SNOW straddles that line all year, with mowing, trimming and fall cleanup on one side of it and plowing, shoveling and clearing on the other.
