About Ryan & Sons Lawncare

Saturday starts north of town while the fog is still lying in the low spots toward Columbiaville and Otter Lake. Ryan & Sons Lawncare runs the route the way a route ought to be run, same yards in the same order, mowing, trimming and edging finished before the day gets loud. In winter those same roads get driven in the dark with a plow on the front, drives opened, walks cleared, mailbox aprons cut back for the carrier. Lapeer County is big enough that a route turns into a kind of geography lesson. By afternoon there is a line of yards behind the truck, every one of them better than it was at dawn.
