Oakridge Lawn & Snow

About Oakridge Lawn & Snow

East of Lapeer the gravel roads ride up onto sandy oak knolls where acorns hit the roof of the truck all through September. Oakridge Lawn & Snow works that high ground both ways, with mowing, trimming and leaf cleanup while the season lasts, then plowing the long ridge driveways once the wind starts carrying snow instead of leaves. Up there a storm scours one side of the road and loads the other, so a drive that was clear at midnight is not clear at five. Coming back for the second pass is not extra; it is the work. A cleared way out to the road before the school bus rounds the corner is a good morning's result.
