About Stiles Lawn, Landscaping & Snow Removal Inc.

The changeover day is easy to spot in Lansing: mid-November, the last leaves down along Sycamore Creek, ice edging the water at Hawk Island, and the mowers coming off the trailer for the final time. Stiles Lawn, Landscaping & Snow Removal Inc. lives on both sides of that day — mowing, trimming, edging and landscape work while the ground is green, then plowing, shoveling and salting once it is not. Fall cleanups are the hinge, and they are worth doing thoroughly; a yard raked out clean in November comes back faster in April. Winter here is less one storm than a long series of them. Being the same outfit in both halves of the year means nothing gets handed off and nothing gets forgotten.
