About ArborLawn

On the west side of Lansing the silver maples grow tall enough to make their own weather, and a June morning under them starts cool, with dew still beaded across the grass. ArborLawn mows into that hour, when the blades cut clean and the clippings fall light. Shade lawns ask for a different touch than open ones — a taller cut, a patient hand around root flares and fence lines — and that patience is most of the work. By the time the sun tops the trees, the trimming is finished, the edge along the walk is crisp, and the yard smells like the first real week of summer.
