Follow the Polly Ann corridor north out of Lake Orion in late October and the whole landscape hands in its notice at once — leaves down, fields brown, the first hard frost silvering the lawns before sunrise. That handoff is the busiest stretch of the year for Turman's Tree & Landscape: the last mows and the fall cleanups on one side of the week, the plow trucks going on the other. Then the season turns fully, and the same properties get cleared drives and open walks until the grass comes back in April. Working a place across that changeover means never having to be introduced to it twice. A yard cut clean in September and a driveway cleared in January are two halves of the same care.
