Tree Fellas

About Tree Fellas

Winter reaches Lake Odessa on a west wind that crosses open farmland with nothing at all to slow it down, and by three in the morning the drifts have already redrawn every driveway in the village. Tree Fellas plows those drives and lots, clears the walks, and puts down ice control so the first person out the door at six finds pavement instead of a problem. Around the old depot and the storefronts on Central Avenue, a shoveled sidewalk is what lets the day open on time. Storm nights run long — a route pushed once, then pushed again as the snow keeps refilling it. Seasonal plowing here is a promise kept in the dark.
