Joe's Tree Service

About Joe's Tree Service

Lake City wraps around Lake Missaukee, and the country rolling away from town is planted thick with spruce and fir standing in rows on every ridge. Joe's Tree Service works the trees that came up on their own: the hardwoods over the cottages, the pines lining a drive, the old maple that has finally started dropping limbs on the lawn. Removals follow a sequence worked out before the first cut, so a shed and a septic field come through untouched. Trimming and pruning open a lakeside yard to the light and take out whatever will not survive another hard winter. After a storm crosses Missaukee County, they take the downed wood apart and carry it off, so the yard is usable again by the weekend.
