About Matt's Lawn Care LLC

This tiny city is home to the historic McMath-Hulbert Observatory, built to study the sun, and on a winter morning after a storm that low sun climbs over a landscape gone completely white. Matt's Lawn Care LLC turns to snow removal in Lake Angelus, opening driveways and walks once the flakes stop falling. The roads ringing the water curve and climb, so a drive opened to its full width, with the turnaround cleared and the steps scraped, makes an icy morning far less of a puzzle. There is satisfaction in the contrast: snowbanks squared and gleaming, bare asphalt running between them, the frozen lake spread out below. It is winter work done with a lawn keeper's eye for a neat line.
