About Nixons Outdoor Services, LLC

Between Laingsburg and Perry the only lights at two in the morning are barn lamps and a set of amber flashers. Nixons Outdoor Services, LLC keeps those hours through Shiawassee County winters, pushing driveways and lots open, shoveling around doors and mailboxes, spreading salt wherever a slope wants to become a slide. Storms here come in off the flat and settle for a while, so the route is run more than once and the piles are set where they will melt away from the pavement instead of back onto it. Snow moved at night means nobody is standing out in the cold at seven with a shovel. That trade is worth losing the sleep over.
