Tikky's Tree Services

About Tikky's Tree Services

In June the daylight hangs on past ten o'clock up here, and the Falls River runs cold and loud through L'Anse on its way down to the bay. Tikky's Tree Services uses every hour of it, working out along the Skanee and Point Abbaye roads among camps and year-round places tucked into birch and balsam. Pruning is done with next winter in mind, thinning what would otherwise catch snow and tear. Removals take the leaners standing over a roof and the dead pines crowding a chimney, sectioned down and set gently on the ground. When a thunderstorm barrels off Superior and drops a crown across the yard, they clear it, split what is worth burning, and leave the rest chipped.
