About Wistrand's - Land Clearing - Forestry Mulching

February in the Pere Marquette pines is a buried, patient thing — snow to the knee, tracks stitched across the two-tracks, the woods around Kingsley holding their breath. Wistrand's - Land Clearing - Forestry Mulching turns out into that with a plow, opening the long wooded drives and private roads no public truck will ever touch. Out here a driveway can run a quarter mile through red pine before it reaches a door, and clearing it is the difference between a house being reachable and not. Turnarounds and parking spots get pushed back wide so the next storm has somewhere to go. The work covers Kingsley, Buckley, Fife Lake, Mayfield and the surrounding Grand Traverse County backroads.
