UP Maintenance & Janitorial

About UP Maintenance & Janitorial

Five in the morning on Carpenter Avenue, and the lots are still blue and unbroken, the storefronts dark, the whole business end of Kingsford waiting on somebody with a plow. UP Maintenance & Janitorial works that shift — lots opened, walks cleared, salt down at the doors before the first employee turns in off the road. When the snow finally quits for the year, the same properties need their green kept short and their edges kept honest, and that carries right through to October. It is early, unglamorous work, and enormously satisfying when a lot ends up looking like nobody ever had to fight for it. Kingsford, Iron Mountain, Quinnesec and the surrounding Dickinson County stretch are all on the route.
