Bv’s lawn maintenance

About Bv’s lawn maintenance

In Kinde the wind never really quits: it comes in off Lake Huron, crosses the bean and beet fields and keeps the turbines turning out on the flat. Bv's lawn maintenance works with that weather instead of arguing with it — mowing, trimming and edging Thumb yards all summer, then plowing and shoveling once the fields go white and the drifts build against every windbreak. Huron County snow does not so much fall as travel, so clearing a driveway is half plowing and half knowing where it will come back. In summer the reward is a level cut with lake air moving through it; in winter it is a clean drive at first light. Same ground, both ways, year after year.
