Wilsons Lawn Care

About Wilsons Lawn Care

September mornings on the streets off Shaffer Avenue come in heavy with dew, the grass silver until nine and the air finally cool enough to work in. Wilsons Lawn Care starts once it dries — mowing, trimming the beds and fence lines, edging back the turf where summer let it creep out over the concrete. Fall is when a Kentwood lawn does its best growing, thick and deep green, and it repays a regular cut more than any other stretch of the year. There is a good feeling in pulling away from a yard with the lines still standing and the walk swept behind you. The evenings shorten, the mower keeps running, and the place stays kept right up to the frost.
