Spring reaches Kentwood as a slow argument — a warm week, and then a frost that silvers the grass out by Bowen Station Park. Jpatt Lawncare waits it out and then gets moving: the first mow of the year, the winter litter raked off, the trimmer running along fence posts and mailbox poles nothing has touched since October. It takes two or three visits before a lawn remembers what it is supposed to look like, and then one morning it does. Borders square, beds legible again, clippings swept off the sidewalk. The season runs long here, and it always starts with somebody making that first pass.
