Cutler's Mowing & Plowing

About Cutler's Mowing & Plowing

Late August in Kentwood comes in thick and green — the clay holds the rain, and a lawn off 44th Street can put on an inch between visits. Cutler's Mowing & Plowing keeps ahead of it, cutting on a rhythm, running the trimmer down the fence lines, blowing the clippings off the drive so the whole thing looks finished rather than merely done. When the maples let go in November and the first heavy fall of snow follows behind them, the same trucks turn to plowing driveways and opening walks. Winter here rarely announces itself; it simply arrives off the lake and keeps arriving. Either half of the year, the measure holds — the property looks tended, and nobody at the house had to think about it.
