Sneller Snow & Grounds

About Sneller Snow & Grounds

When a lake-effect band parks itself over the Gull Road corridor it does not snow so much as pour, and the run out toward Richland can disappear inside an hour. Sneller Snow & Grounds heads into that instead of away from it — headlights on, blade down, one property to the next until the route is finished. There is an odd beauty to a cleared lot at four in the morning: black pavement, banks squared, the storm still coming and the ground already won. Plowing, shoveling and ice work make up the entire job, start to finish. Snow removal for Kalamazoo and the towns east and north of it.
