About Emerald Outdoor, LLC

There is a green that only shows up an hour after a June rain, when the Portage River is running full through Michigan Center and every lawn between the lakes looks lit from inside. Emerald Outdoor, LLC chases that color for a living — mowing, trimming and edging so the yard still has shape when the shine wears off. Along the chain of lakes the properties run narrow and long, and getting a clean line between grass and gravel takes patience more than horsepower. In winter the same drives need opening, snow moved off the pavement and away from the door so nobody has to climb a bank to get to the car. Two seasons, one crew, and the same idea in both: leave the place better than you found it that morning.
