Boss Snowplow Distribution Center

About Boss Snowplow Distribution Center

US-2 runs straight through Dickinson County, and in winter it is the artery everything moves along — freight, fuel, and the people who have to be somewhere at seven whether it snowed nine inches or not. Boss Snowplow Distribution Center handles snow removal along that corridor and the properties that feed it, opening approaches, clearing yards, and keeping the ice knocked down where trucks turn. Storms in the western UP tend to come in bands, a burst, a lull, another burst, so the job is less a single push than a long attentive day. Lots get scraped to the pavement, entrances kept wide, piles set where they will not blind a driver pulling out. When the last band passes and the sky goes that pale scoured blue, the gates are already clear.
