By the third week of June the canals off the Salt River are busy again, and the yards along them are small, bright and very much on display. Lawn care in a boating town means staying ahead of that — a dependable weekly cut, an edge along the seawall walks and the drive, trimming close around docks, posts and beds where a deck cannot go. Spring cleanup takes the winter's grit and dead growth off the turf; fall cleanup gathers the leaves before the wind puts them in the water.
