About Great Lakes Outdoor Care

Weather in Ionia arrives from the west, off the big lake, and you can watch it coming across the flat farmland an hour before it gets here. Great Lakes Outdoor Care builds the week around that — mowing, edging and trimming in the windows between fronts, so nobody's grass sits waiting through three wet days. The July evening jobs are the good ones, with the light gone amber and the last stripe laid down toward the road. Spring cleanups clear the winter grit off the turf; fall cleanups take the leaves when the maples finally let go. It is ordinary work done carefully, and it shows every time somebody pulls into their own driveway.
